Terms of Service

oReel is published by Wedey OÜ, a company registered in Estonia under number 17153535, with its registered office at Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia. Contact: [email protected].

By creating an account on oReel, you expressly accept these Terms, the Data Processing Agreement, which forms an integral part of them, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

These documents exist in several languages. The French version is the authoritative text: in the event of any discrepancy between a translation and the French text, the French text prevails.

oReel is an online portfolio creation service (Software as a Service). It lets you build, host and share a public portfolio website at a unique address, and receive messages, appointment requests and newsletter sign-ups through it.

The service is offered as a free plan (Free) and three paid plans (Advanced, Pro, Pro Plus). The content and price of each plan are described on the Pricing page, which is authoritative as at the date of your subscription.

• One user corresponds to one single account.
• You can sign in with an e-mail address and password, or with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity carried out from your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Minors must obtain the permission of their legal representative.
• The information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.

You remain the owner of all content you publish on oReel (text, images, videos, links). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence, limited to the duration of your use of the service, to host, display and distribute this content through your public portfolio, for the sole purpose of providing the service.

When you import information from a CV or a public profile (for example LinkedIn), you warrant that you have the right to reuse it. The imported fields are offered to you as suggestions: nothing is published without your action.

This licence ends automatically when you delete the content or your account. No transfer of economic rights is granted.

You agree not to publish:

• illegal, defamatory or hateful content, or content inciting violence;
• content infringing copyright or trademark rights;
• child sexual abuse material or non-consensual sexual content;
• harassment of, or threats against, any person;
• malware, viruses or links to compromised websites;
• spam, fraud or social engineering;
• non-consensual deepfakes or identity theft;
• fake testimonials or reviews presented as genuine when they are not.

Any breach may lead to the immediate suspension of the account and, where applicable, a report to the competent authorities.

• Payments are processed exclusively by Stripe. We do not store any card data.
• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, according to the billing cycle you choose, in advance and with automatic renewal. A first annual subscription may include a free trial of 7 days, once per customer; the card is charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand.
• Displayed prices include all taxes. Value added tax or the equivalent tax due in your country is calculated by Stripe from your billing address and included in the price. A business customer who provides a valid VAT number may be invoiced exclusive of tax where the reverse-charge mechanism applies. The price may be adjusted to the billing country; the exact amount is always displayed before payment.
• A domain name purchased through the service is subject to an annual subscription separate from your plan; we notify you thirty days before each renewal date.
• You can cancel at any time from Settings > Subscription Plan. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, without any pro rata refund.
• If a payment fails, we notify you and Stripe retries. After 3 unsuccessful attempts, the subscription is cancelled and the account reverts to the free plan; your content is kept.
• If you are a consumer, you have 14 days after your first payment to exercise your right of withdrawal and obtain a full refund, unless you expressly requested immediate access to the service and acknowledged that you lose this right once the service has been fully performed.
• After that, no refund is due, except where mandatory legal provisions require it or as a case-by-case commercial gesture. Referral discounts are governed by the Referral Programme Terms.

Your portfolio may collect data about the people who visit it: contact form messages, appointment requests, addresses of your newsletter subscribers, conversations with your assistant, visit statistics. For this data, you are the controller and Wedey OÜ acts as processor, on your instructions.

The obligations of each party are set out in the Data Processing Agreement (Article 28 GDPR), which forms an integral part of these Terms and which you accept when creating your account. It is your responsibility to inform your visitors, in particular by means of a notice on your portfolio.

oReel, its logos, its templates, its source code and its visual identity are our property or that of our licensors. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence of use, limited to the duration of your use of the service.

You may not reproduce, copy or redistribute the templates outside the service.

oReel is provided under a best-efforts obligation. We strive to ensure maximum availability but do not guarantee any quantified service level. Maintenance may cause temporary interruptions; the state of the service is published on the Status page.

To the extent permitted by law:

• We do not guarantee any particular commercial result, revenue, visibility or number of visitors.
• Our total liability to you is capped at the amount actually paid during the last 12 months.
• We are not responsible for content published by users or for external links.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct or personal injury, nor the rights guaranteed to consumers by law.

• You can delete your account at any time via Settings > Danger zone, after exporting your data if you wish.
• We may suspend or terminate an account in the event of a serious breach of these Terms, non-payment or fraudulent activity, after reasonable notice where possible.

These Terms are governed by Estonian law, the law of the country in which Wedey OÜ is registered. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance falls within the jurisdiction of the Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus, Tallinn, Estonia).

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, this clause does not deprive you of any protection: the mandatory rules of your country of residence continue to apply, and you retain the right to bring proceedings before the courts of that country.
