Asking clients for a testimonial
Send one link. Your client writes the testimonial themselves, it lands waiting for your approval, and nothing reaches your page until you say yes.
You should not be typing your clients' compliments
Most portfolios have no testimonials because collecting them is awkward. The link removes the awkward part: you send it, they write, you approve.
Your link
Go to Settings → Testimonials. Your link looks like oreel.me/t/your-name. It never changes, so you can keep it in an email template or a signature.
What your client sees
A short page with your name, and three fields: who they are, what they do, and what they want to say. No account, no password, nothing to install.
What you see
The testimonial arrives waiting for your approval. It is not on your page and cannot get there on its own — you approve or decline it from the same settings panel. A testimonial collected through the link carries a mark showing it came from the person themselves.
Where it appears
Approved testimonials show in the Testimonials section of your portfolio, which is part of the Advanced plan and above. You can reorder them and switch the section off at any time.
