Two versions of your portfolio

You always have two: the draft you edit, and the published page your visitors see. They are separate on purpose — nobody should watch you type.

Editing saves, publishing shows

Everything you change in the builder is saved automatically, to the draft. The badge reading All changes saved means exactly that, and nothing more: it is not a receipt for your public page.

To move the draft onto your public address, press Publish. Until you do, oreel.me/your-name keeps serving the last version you published.

Then allow up to a minute

Your public page is cached so it loads fast for visitors anywhere. After you publish, that cache takes up to sixty seconds to refresh. If you reload and see the old version, wait a moment and reload again — nothing is lost.

Checking before you publish

The preview at the top of the builder shows the draft at phone, tablet and desktop widths. It is the same rendering engine as the public page, so what you see there is what visitors will get.
