Connecting your own domain

Your portfolio at your address

The Pro Plus plan serves your portfolio from your own domain name instead of an oreel.me address.

What you do

1. Add the domain under Settings → Domain
2. Create the DNS record the page shows you, at your registrar
3. Come back and press Verify

What takes time

A DNS change is not instant: expect anything from a few minutes to a few hours depending on your registrar. While verification fails, your oreel.me address keeps working normally — you never lose your page during the switch.

If verification keeps failing

Check the record is the type asked for and carries no stray space. If it all looks right after twenty-four hours, write to us: we can see what the domain actually returns from our side.
